The Allegheny County medical examiner’s office identified the victims as Gerald Harris, 19, and Isha Tyree, 20.

Mr. Harris was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:26 p.m.; Ms. Tyree was taken to Allegheny General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 7:38 p.m.

The gunman ran from the scene on Divinity Street, a short, quiet street in Perry South, but no arrests have been made.

Pittsburgh police arriving after a 6:52 p.m. call to 911 found Ms. Tyree shot multiple times in the front seat of a sedan by someone who had evidently been standing outside the vehicle, said police spokeswoman Sonya Toler.

The car was parked outside a white frame home where officers found Mr. Harris shot dead on the stairs inside, also from multiple bullets.
