Fun Experiments With Kids

Amazing Science Experiments With Kids

My favorite is the GOOP!!

These ladies love to help their kids make science experiments. They make a lava lamp, soap experiment, and more. By using simple household items, they amaze their kids with what they can do. They make a lava lamp by taking an empty, plastic container, and filling it with one to two inches of water.

By funneling in vegetable oil almost to the top, they're almost finished. They squeeze in a few drops of food coloring, and finish by dropping in a little bit of Alka-Seltzer. When they shake it up, it looks perfect. They also make an amazing goop using only 1 1/2 cups of corn starch, 1/2 a cup of water, and a few drops of food coloring. By mixing the ingredients together with a spoon, it creates a wild slime-like goop that changes each time you touch it.

Their last experiment is the easiest, and most colorful. They pour whole milk into a glass baking dish until it is filled about two inches high, adding in a few different colors of food coloring. When they dip a q-tip into dish soap and poke the food coloring with the q-tip, and amazing tie-dye design forms. The kids love it!
